In just 35 years of age, Kartikeya Sharma has become one of the most prosperous entrepreneurs in India. After this, he moved further ahead and founded several startup companies in media and sports. Today, Kartikeya Sharma is best known for his mega-gamma ventures of The Pro Wrestling League and his iTV Media Network. Sharma is a noteworthy personality when it comes to his contributions in the arena of sports in India. Pro Sportify, a new age sports programme, was first launched by Mr. Kartikeya Sharma back in 2015. It was then formed as part of a local sports venture, for the development of athletic activities and sports at the national level.

With his keen vision of boosting the level of sports in India, Sharma targeted to nurture the vast field of talent that our country owns. It is indeed factual that there are hundreds of thousands of talented sportspersons in every corner of the country, but only a handful of them can actually make it big. The majority of this vast talent pool goes untapped and unacknowledged, for which lack of suitable opportunities and inferior playing conditions are mostly responsible. So Kartikeya Sharma, along with Pro Sportify, aimed to provide that much-needed support and a platform to talented individuals so that they could pursue their passion for sports and achieve their dreams at an international level. The result is a collaboration with the Wrestling Federation of India to launch the Pro Wrestling League.

This wrestling league is a subsidiary programme that is fully owned by Pro Sportify, which is vying with Mashal Sports that hosts the Pro Kabaddi League. Sharma and his team have reportedly partnered with SportySolutionz, a Noida – based sports agency, for the Pro Wrestling League.

Pro Sportify has said in an official statement that their entire approach to developing the sport of wrestling in India will be of professional standards. They have refused to compromise on the essence of this sporting activity and its basics, which will be clearly evident in their ventures. With this venture, Sharma aims to boost wrestling in India to similar heights as IPL Cricket.

The iTV Network was launched by Mr. Kartikeya Sharma back in the year 2007. Since its inception till date, this media company has garnered tremendous popularity and a huge base of followers.

At present, it hosts two well-accepted news channels which broadcast national news. Both the English and the Hindi news channels, NewsX and India News, respectively, have gained topmost rankings all across the country. And given that there is cut-throat competition at all levels, the skyrocketing popularity of these media channels in a short time is definitely a commendable achievement.

The English news channel was acquired by Mr. Sharma in 2012, and as of now, NewsX is the only free-to-air 24-hours English news channel in India.Till 2015, Kartikeya Sharma was successful in launching 5 regional news channels via the India News network, which broadcast local news across Rajasthan, Haryana, Chattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and several other states.
